The CTSGNA and IMS have teamed-up to build this website. We would like to hear your thoughts! Please e-mail your ideas and suggestions for this website to an officer.
The purpose of CTSGNA is to bring the benefits of national membership to SGNA members at the local level:
- to unite in one Regional Society persons engaged in any capacity in the fields of gastroenterology and/or endoscopy nursing;
- to encourage and develop educational programs for persons in such fields;
- to advance the technology, science and arts of practicioners in such fields;
- to advocate optimal care for patients with digestive disease and those undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures;
- and to cooperate with other professional societies, corporations and governmental bodies involved in such fields.
Nomination and Election
2010 - 2011
It is now time to be thinking ahead to who will be guiding CTSGNA over the next 2 years. We are calling for nominations to fill president elect, secretary and treasure. Please look to yourself or to someone in the organization that you may feel to be a leader and submit there name to Michelle Day (nomination committee chair) at mydayboys@sbcglobal.net. This person must be a member of SGNA with at least 2 years experience with the organization.

Certification Exam: October 18, 2009
Scholarship application deadline is June 12th
The scholarship is available to both new applicants and those recertifying. The exam will be offered in Boston, MA. Remember you may also take the exam on computer. For a complete list of computer testing sites and further information visit ABCGN at www.abcgn.org/exam.
Scholarship Applications
Applications are now being accepted for Beyond the Scope 2009. You may download the form. When completed forward to Michelle Day at mydayboys@sbcglobal.net. Deadline for applications is September 17, 2009.
SGNA Nominations
SGNA will be calling for nominations for 2010-2011. Positions to be elected are Director and Nomination & Election committee. The deadline for nominations is July 31, 2009. Please go to www.SGNA.org and access "About us" for more information.
